Not even a past
Not a thing

I’m the wind
That goes everywhere
Without permission

A day that was not written in the calendar
A day that was not meant to happen yet

Without thinking what might happen

I just want to breathe

No set of goals in mind

I’m probably just not meant to exist, not yet

Reflections on the Future

We are all preparing for something. What is it? Where do we go? How do we know? We might be going towards the goals that we set in our mind: a new house, a wife, children, money. Everyday we are preparing for the future.

What is the future? People think of the future as something that will happen tomorrow. Tomorrow is yesterday's dream. What happens if yesterday we were so busy worrying we forgot to dream? Worrying about the future creates stress and it doesn't allow us to receive divine energy. This energy will show us the way, as for the future there is not only one way to follow. The future has endless opportunities for all of us.

We all set limits: “this is what I will accomplish”, “I can't do anything more”. Limits are good if they themselves are our goals. Limitations on the other hand bring us down to a reality that doesn't exist, but that we have created. We have created the idea of who we are, and where we want to go. If we change it, not only the world will see that, but our future will reflect that as well.

Where do we go and what do we want to do with our lives? We all must have a plan and follow it. In the process we have to open our minds and hearts to new possibilities as we can only plan at a certain level, the level that we know – the level in which we are capable. There are other levels of consciousness, other realities we aren't able to manage. Community karmas, disasters, accidents – we can protect ourselves from such things by keeping a positive attitude and maintaining our spirits bright and attracting light into our lives. However, if anything bad happens in our future it doesn't mean that we are going in the wrong path. It means that we have to change our attention to something, or someone that is calling upon us. We are being directed to a different direction because the universe senses what we need and it will direct us to that front door. At that moment, it will appear that our plans are being destroyed – this is not how we planned it. We can't see it at the moment, but years later when we look at the big picture we will notice the synchronism of events.

We are egocentric creatures. We only think of our future. However, we all belong to the universe and if we have qualities that will affect the rest of humanity in some way, our future will be affected and we will be moved immediately where the universe needs us to be at that time.

There is only one past, but the present is an exotic flower that only blooms once: stop and smell it! Don't get lost in your mind worrying about the future. The future is written in the sky. Look for the future in the letters of your soul.
